Avengers Endgame finally did it! My personal favorite movie of all time, the first movie that has ever caused me to literally almost jump out of my seat at the theater overtook Avatar as the number 1 film.
While Endgame started to stall a few weeks after it’s release, another version of the movie with an additional 6 min of film was released and helped it to pass avatar for the milestone. The announcement was made at the Comic-con in San Diego by Kevin Feige. Another mind blowing statistic Marvel managed to achieve is their gross revenue looking to pass the $3 Billion mark this weekend. It shouldn’t be surprising however because Avengers: Endgame actually had the biggest opening of all time at $1.22 Billion.
Marvel executed the series excellently as Endgame was the fourth of a series of four Avenger movies. If you haven’t seen Endgame yet, it is a must see! Get to the theaters before it is too late!
A classic story of a company climbing from failure to success, Marvel declared bankruptcy in 1996. In just over 20 years, Marvel became a mega billion dollar enterprise. While the universe with most of the original Avengers was finally wrapped up in Endgame, I’m excited to see what kind of twists and turns Marvel will take, you never know when an alternative timeline or unlikely resurrection from the dead will happen! Marvel won’t be disappointing it’s fans this year as it has roughly 7movies planned for 2020. Enjoy!
About the Company -Monogram Orthopaedics is a company focused on disrupting the orthopedics industry by offering innovative solutions to an old process, a process that allows for “good enough” products and processes in the orthopedic implant market. Innovating in this market is costly, leading to a monopoly in the market by four companies: Zimmer Biomet, Stryker, DePuy Synthes and Smith & Nephew. Monogram Orthopaedics, a California based biotech company, is challenging these companies by pushing for a desperately needed update to the implant market. They’re doing this in two ways, the first is by producing their parts through 3D printing which allows the parts to be customizable to each patient’s unique specifications rather than standard, mass produced implants. The second is by using machine learning and robotics to implant different body part replacements, allowing for a significantly better outcome compared to the current process that utilizes less capable robots. Here is a video of one of the Monogram robots in action with its advanced tracking abilities:
This robotic arm has seven ranges of motion!
According to internal studies conducted by the company, their process shows a better fit, increased accuracy, and more bone contact. Below is another video where the founders and leading scientists working on the project explain even further the potential this technology has to offer. In this video, they explain how current implants for a knee are flat and a one size fits all, while Monogram’s process allows for implants that follow the natural curvature and shape of each individual’s knee.
Why Invest? – According to Seedinvest, over 700,000 knee replacement surgeries are performed each year in the United States alone, each one using the same, standard implants that have been on the market for years. Now that Monogram has developed the technology for customizable implants, why should we sit back and allow slow innovation by large companies who control the market? Monogram would be an excellent company to invest in because of their potential to break out into a high demand market. Once this technology becomes available, no one will want to stick with the one size fits all method from the past. When it comes to surgical procedures, many are anxious to undergo an operation, knowing they will be fitted with implants specific to their body would help ease their minds.
I personally believe that one of the most important questions to ask yourself when deciding whether or not to invest is, “will this product better people’s lives?” You can look at nearly any product that substantially increases the quality or ease of a person’s life and that product is a success. By providing custom fit orthopedic implants and higher quality procedures, Monogram is improving both the ease and quality with which this procedure is performed, bettering lives at the same time. Monogram is not taking investments just yet, however you can find more specific details about them as well as reserve your spot for when they do begin taking investments here.
Take Note– This company was founded in 2015, so, while still promising, it is relatively new, and I should note that most startups fail. However I personally believe this company has the capability to disrupt their targeted industry and provide a great opportunity to investors. At a current market evaluation of just over 21 million dollars, this biotech company is full of potential to go far.

If you are looking to add that extra flare to your bohemian style, string lights and some greenery are always a good idea! You can buy string lights like these at places like Target and Urban Outfitters. You can get greenery almost anywhere. The plant in this photo is a snake plant, which are very drought tolerant and easy to take care of.
2. Rattan and Tassels
Tassels will be found in most bohemian styled rooms. Opal House has products like this as well as Urban Outfitters. Tassels are one of the aspects of a bohemian styled room that add flare to a chill vibe. Don’t be afraid to throw some in there! Also, with its neutral look, rattan is perfect for adding some character with the different designs and patterns available.
3. Chandeliers and Macrame and Fur Rugs
I love the amount of character faux or fur rugs add to the room when they aren’t perfect squares or circles! Additionally, hanging some macrame on the wall is an excellent way of taking up wall space and staying casual. You can find many unique pieces as well on Etsy! Last, casual chandeliers like the one is this room are perfect for a BOHO style because they add uniqueness and character to your room without any of the uptightness if a typical chandelier!
4. Neutral Colors
Some people aren’t a fan of the bright colors that typically come with a bohemian styled room. A great way to maintain a BOHO style while avoiding colors is to have a good amount of unique pieces that add character and catch the eye. Floor pillows, uniquely shaped nightstands and artwork, along with some cool fully cloth or leather ottomans keep the room from looking boring while avoiding the bright colors. Have fun and make it personal!
5. Floral Prints and Musical Instruments
Floral prints are a dead giveaway to a classic BOHO bedroom. Pile on the floral prints and be sure to include some throw blankets! Also, who doesn’t love the look of an acoustic guitar? You can get cheap ones for style, or better yet, get a decent one and try to learn how to play in your spare time so it will serve a double purpose!
6. Rugs, Pillows, and More Pillows
I love the look of layered rugs like this, it breaks the rigid look of a square rug and adds a lot of personality to the room. Also, you can never have enough pillows. Load up your bed with pillows of different patterns and colors and enjoy!
7. Wall art
Yes, this is a living room, but using interesting wall art like this with an eclectic table and a fun throw blanket is a great to maintaining a more crisp, less casual feel while keeping that friendly relaxing atmosphere. You could easily do this in a bedroom!
8. Floor Pillows
Floor pillows, floor pillows, and more floor pillows! Floor pillows are a lot of fun and perfect for creating a chill hangout environment. Who wouldn’t want to read or study in a room like this!? You can never have too many floor pillows!
9. Wall Tapestries
Wall Tapestries are awesome because they can be used to take up large awkward spaces and aren’t expensive at all! You can find wall tapestries on places like Etsy, Amazon, or Urban Outfitters!
10. Photos
Photos are a great way to create a friendly aesthetic! Not only can they serve as a great decorative item, they remind you of your favorite moments. Another way to use photos is clipping them onto a string on lights like this!
